CABARRUS COUNTY <br />A <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 17, 2016 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development — Proposed Amendment (TEXT2016- 00002) — <br />Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Staff is proposing that the Zoning Ordinance, the Subdivision Ordinance <br />and the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance be located in one central <br />document. <br />The staff, the Text Amendment Committee, and the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission have considered names and recommend that the name of <br />the new document be The Cabarrus County Development Ordinance. <br />A memo with additional information is attached for your reference.
