RETAIL SALES, NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET - Small scale retail stores intended to serve the <br />surrounding neighborhood. These types of markets typically sell bread, milk, snack foods, <br />drinks and other basic grocery items and do not exceed 1000 square feet. <br />ADD NEW LANGUAGE <br />MULTI - PHASED DEVELOPMENT- A development containing 100 acres or more that (i) is submitted <br />for site plan approval for construction to occur in more than one phase and (ii) is subject to a <br />master development plan with committed elements, including a requirement to offer land for <br />public use as a condition of its master development plan approval. <br />REMOVE THE FOLLOWING: <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) - An area of land zoned and improved as a development <br />for which the otherwise applicable bulk use and other requirements may be modified in order <br />to allow for more flexible planning in conformance with the development approval process and <br />developed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3 of this Ordinance. <br />BE IT ALSO ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />RENUMBER AND REVISE the Table of Contents and page numbers in the Cabarrus County <br />Zoning Ordinance to correspond to the text changes. <br />Adopted this 17 day of October, 2016, by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners. <br />Stephen M.
