Each event, <br />subject, company, or commercial interest shall have <br />no more than one (1) sign per intersection. Posting <br />shall be limited to one (1) sign per corner. (political <br />signs shall not be subject to this limitation and shall <br />not count toward the four (4) sign limit). <br />6. Upon removal of sign, land must be returned to its <br />natural form. <br />Temporary signs. On -site temporary signs used to promote any event of a <br />temporal nature are allowed in any nonresidential zoning district. <br />1. Temporary construction signs. One per site not exceeding 32 <br />square feet in area. May contain in its message identification of the <br />project, its owner and/or developer, architect, engineer, land <br />planner, landscape- architect, contractor and subcontractor. Such <br />signs shall not be erected prior to preliminary plat approval when <br />the development comes under Cabarrus County Subdivision <br />Regulations. When the project is not under such regulation, the <br />letting of contracts will be the point in time at which such signs may <br />be posted. <br />2. Temporary agricultural signs. If on- premise, do not require a sign <br />permit. They are, however, subject to area requirements as follows: <br />The sign may not exceed sixteen (16) square feet, nor exceed six (6) <br />feet in height, nor be illuminated. These signs are to be erected no <br />sooner than one (1) week prior to the beginning of the harvest season <br />and must be removed immediately upon the end of the harvest <br />season. <br />3. Removal of temporary signs. Unless specified otherwise, all <br />temporary signs must be removed within ten (10) days from the date <br />the purpose of the sign ceased to exist. <br />Signs for home occupations and rural home occupations as follows: <br />1. Home occupation - one nonilluminated sign not to exceed four (4) <br />square feet, either affixed to a building or freestanding. <br />2. Rural home occupation - total nonilluminated signage not to <br />exceed eight (8) square feet, either affixed to a building or <br />freestanding. <br />PART III.
