11 -6 Sign Permitting <br />A. Signage Plan Required <br />For any lot on which the owner proposes to erect one or more signs requiring a permit the <br />owner shall submit a Signage Plan containing the following information. For a combined <br />development or other multi- tenant development, a master signage plan shall be prove ed. <br />• An accurate plot plan of the lot or parcel showing the proposed location f th n( ) as <br />well as the location of building, parking lots, driveways, sight triangles an ndscaped <br />areas. <br />• Each proposed individual sign type shall be depicted on the n Zinclude the <br />following: <br />• Computation of the proposed face of the sign or signs <br />• The height of the proposed sign or signs <br />• The number of proposed signs on the lot(s) o pare and the location <br />• The number of proposed signs to be pla ildings and the location <br />• Rendering for each individual sign showing e proposed design, sign face area <br />and the height of the sign <br />The Administrator shall review the applic tion in accordance with the criteria established in this <br />Ordinance. The Administrator shall solici eview omments in accordance with general review <br />procedures. <br />11 -7 Sign Area and Height Comp!jtati <br />The following principles II c I the computation of sign area and sign height: <br />Computation of Ar o Single ced Signs <br />The area of a sig fa all be computed by means of the smallest square or rectangle that will <br />encompass the e e limits of the writing, representation, emblem, or other display, <br />together with ma rial or color forming an integral part of the background of the display or <br />used to diff tDrIfiaW the sign from the backdrop or structure against which it is placed. <br />ComNILon f Area of Multi -faced Signs <br />The sa for a sign with more than one face shall be computed by adding together the area <br />of all sign faces visible from any one point.
