The following additional regulations shall apply to on premise wall mounted signs: <br />• Additional Wall Sign or Canopy Sign Permitted on Corner or Double Frontage Lots <br />Lots with more than one street frontage shall be allowed to erect one additional wall or <br />canopy sign on the secondary street frontage, provided that the secondary frontage is at <br />least 100 feet in width at the street right -of -way. The maximum allowable siz for a sign <br />on one wall is not transferable to other permitted signage. <br />• Additional Wall Sign or Canopy Sign Permitted to Face Side or Rear Parkinot <br />Lots with parking to the side or rear of a building shall be allowed t one <br />additional wall or canopy sign facing the parking lot, provided that lea 50 percent of <br />the required parking for the establishment is located to the w e r r the building <br />and an entrance to the establishment faces the parking lot. <br />• Location Requirements for Wall Signs <br />No wall sign may extend more than one foot from t ext r r of the wall and no <br />portion of a sign shall extend above the wall mounted. <br />• Changeable Copy Area and Electronic Mess Board Area <br />Changeable copy (reader board) area and electronic message board area are permitted <br />provided that the changeable co I or electronic message board area does not exceed <br />50 percent of the total area of thign face. See Table 11 -1.2 for districts where <br />changeable copy and electronic sage boards are permitted. <br />11 -15 Canopy /Awning Sign <br />The maximum permitted si re location, characteristics, and number of Canopy /Awning <br />signs shall be dete Lned in a rdance with Table 11.1. <br />The following ad al gulations shall apply to canopy /awning signs: <br />Valance an y e for Canopy /Awning Signs <br />The n or ron, for any canopy shall in no case exceed 12 inches in height. <br />Illum for Canopy /Awning Signs <br />Canopy awning signs that may be illuminated shall have no bare bulbs present on or around <br />the sign face. <br />Clearance Requirements for Canopy/ Awning Signs and Suspended Canopy Signs <br />All canopy /awning signs attached to the underside of a canopy /awning shall maintain the <br />Amended <br />Chapter 11 Page 10 of 18 <br />Attachment number 2 \n <br />G -4 Page 266 <br />
