CABARRUS COUNTY <br />w r; <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 17, 2016 <br />1 <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Planning and Development - Proposed Amendments (TEXT2016 -00005 <br />and TEXT2016- 00006) - Public Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />An ordinance is attached describing three proposed changes to the <br />Zoning Ordinance. One is a proposed amendment to correct an error in <br />the setbacks listed for the CR district Chapter 5 in the Conventional <br />Subdivision Table. The other two proposals relate to Chapter 8. The first <br />is an amendment to Chapter 8, #30 Shooting Range with Outdoor Target <br />Practice. The second is an amendment to Chapter 8, #36 Wireless <br />Telecommunications Services. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously at their August <br />9, 2016 meeting to recommend the amendments to the Board of <br />Commissioners for final approval. The Board of Commissioners is <br />required to hold a public hearing. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Receive input. <br />Hold a public hearing. <br />Motion to adopt the proposed text amendments (TEXT2016 -00005 and <br />TEXT2016- 00006). <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />10 Minutes <br />G -4 Page 276 <br />
