F -11W W IIN01 <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 15, 2015 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Approval of Maintenance and Repair Agreement <br />between Cabarrus County, CCS and KCS <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The County entered into an agreement with Cabarrus County Schools <br />(CCS) and Kannapolis City Schools (KCS) in FY 1999 in order to provide <br />specific funding for building and ground maintenance as well as to <br />consolidate the operations of both school systems for this function. The <br />previous agreement expired on June 30, 2014. The proposed agreement <br />will extend the service for an additional five years: FY15 -FY19. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve revised contract subject to the review of the County <br />Attorney, County Manager and both school districts. <br />EXPECTED LENGTH OF PRESENTATION: <br />SUBMITTED BY: <br />Pamela S.
