CABARRUS COUNTY <br />* <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 15 2015 <br />1 <br />�A CA1Lp 1�1�I <br />• P .M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Betty Barnhardt, Jean Chandler and Carol Vogt serve on the Region F <br />Aging Advisory Committee and have terms expiring June 30, 2015. All are <br />willing to serve another term. <br />Carol Vogt has served as a delelgate representative since 2009. She is <br />eligible to serve a one -year term as an "Alternate" representative and is <br />recommended for appointment to that position by the CCOG Program <br />Assistant. <br />Betty Barnhardt is willing to serve as a delegate and is recommended for <br />appointment to that position by the CCOG Program Assistant. <br />Jean Chandler is eligible for reappointment as a "delegate" and is <br />recommended for reappointment to that position by the CCOG Program <br />Assistant. She also serves on the Cabarrus County Senior Centers <br />Advisory Council as an Ex- officio member as the Region F Aging Advisory <br />Committee representative. An exception to the "multiple service" provision <br />of the Appointment Policy will be needed for her. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to appoint an individual to the Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />as the "Alternate" representative for a one -year term ending June 30, <br />2016. <br />Motion to appoint an individual as a "Delegate" representative to the <br />H -10 Page 254 <br />
