I 1742 <br />1 <br />I <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />January 22, 2013 — 6:30 P.M. <br />Industrial Development Incentive Grant <br />Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 <br />p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in the Board of <br />Commissioners' Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 <br />Church Street SE, Concord, to consider an economic development grant for Simon Properties, pursuant to <br />N.C. General Statute 158 -7.1. The Mall Operator proposes to expand its facilities by adding an attraction in <br />Concord, NC with a total projected investment of approximately $10 million and is requesting a 4 -year grant <br />equivalent to 85% of the ad valorem taxes on the investment.
