♦ Chapter Fifteen Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br />Projected enrollment from the proposed residential development and enrollment <br />generated by Committed Development consists of the sum of all proposed dwelling <br />units or dwelling units permitted on platted lots, multiplied by the student generation <br />rate. The above - referenced figures may be adjusted from time to time by the County <br />Commission by amending this Ordinance to reflect updates to the student generation <br />rate calculated by the Cabarrus County Planning Services Department. <br />2. The Reviewing Agency will determine whether public schools within the County have <br />sufficient available capacity and acreage to accommodate the demand generated by the <br />proposed residential development at the adopted level of service. Available capacity <br />shall be calculated for the applicable high school feeder area and shall be expressed in <br />terms of possible student enrollment which can be accommodated, in accordance with <br />the following formulae: <br />Formula #1: CAC = (EC) - (E + C) <br />Formula #2: FAC = (EC + PC2) - (E + C) <br />Formula #3: FAC = (EC + PC5) - (E + C) <br />where: <br />Adopted 8/20/2007 16 <br />Cabarrus County Revisions 4/10/2008 <br />Amended 5/19/2008 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />G -2 Page 205 <br />
