Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance <br />Chapter 1- General Provisions <br />approval. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the Zoning Administrator from revoking <br />the original approval for failure to comply with applicable terms and conditions of the <br />approval or the ZeHiRg Ordinance. <br />Upon issuance of a building permit, the provisions of General Statutes <br />§153A -358 and §153A -362 shall apply, except that a permit shall not expire or be <br />revoked because of the running of time while a vested right under this section is <br />outstanding. <br />A right which has been vested as provided in this section shall terminate at the end of <br />the applicable vesting period with respect to buildings and uses for which no valid <br />building permit applications have been filed. <br />This provision shall be valid for 180 days beginning on the date of enactment running <br />consecutively and terminating on the 181st day. The zoning permit or approved site <br />specific plan and /or phased development plan shall be issued during this period <br />to be considered valid. <br />Section 1 -10 Enforcement <br />All suits at law or in equity and /or all prosecutions resulting from t#e violation of the <br />Prior ZeHiRg Ordinance which are now pending in any courts of this state or of the <br />United States shall not be abated or abandoned by reason of the adoption of this <br />Ordinance but shall be prosecuted to their finality the same as if this Ordinance had not <br />been adopted. Further, prosecution of any and all violators of the Prior Ordinance <br />which has not yet been instituted may be hereafter filed and prosecuted. <br />Section 1 -11 Relationship to land development plan <br />It is the intention of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners ( hereip -af+^.r referred <br />t eas- the "Board ") that this Ordinance implement the planning policies adopted by the <br />Board for the County as reflected in the Land Development Guide, Area Plans, and <br />other planning documents. <br />Section 1 -12 No use or sale of land or buildings except in conformity with Ordinance <br />provisions <br />a.
