Governance Board <br />Due to the complexity of operations, financial <br />risk, and responsibility for public funding, <br />the Governance Board must be highly <br />functional. <br />A strong Governance Board is the best way to <br />ensure accountability of both the CEO and <br />the LM E. <br />Literature that describes best practices in <br />Board Governance recommends that Boards <br />include a minimum of 7 members and a <br />maximum of 11 members. <br />Attachment number 2 <br />G -4 Page 208 <br />
