ADDITION <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 21, 2011 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Library - Proclamation Declaring March and April, 2011 as "One Book <br />One Community" Month and Saturday, April 9th as Tim O'Brien Day in <br />Cabarrus County <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Public Library has selected "The Things They <br />Carried" by Tim O'Brien for the 2011 One Book One Community - <br />Cabarrus Reads Program. There are over 25 programs and events <br />throughout March and April including community book discussions, <br />theatre events, children & family programs, films, a photography exhibit <br />and more. Of special interest are The Wall that Heals and a visit from the <br />author.
