1 <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 21, 2011 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />I AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />SUBJECT: <br />' Appointment — Cabarrus County Agricultural Advisory Board <br />' BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Cabarrus Soil & Water Conservation District board voted; at their March <br />1, 2011 meeting on their nominee to serve on the Cabarrus County <br />Agricultural Advisory Board in accordance with Article V. C. 3 in the <br />Cabarrus County Voluntary Agricultural District Ordinance. Louis Suther <br />was unanimously recommended for reappointment. In addition, the <br />terms for Marvin Bost and Jerry Pless ended January 31st. <br />' Appointments are needed for these two (2) positions. <br />' REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to reappoint Louis Suther to the Cabarrus County Agricultural <br />' Advisory Board for a 3 -year term ending January 31, 2014 as <br />recommended by the Cabarrus Soil & Water Conservation District <br />board. <br />t <br />Motion to appoint two (2) applicants to the Cabarrus County <br />' Agricultural Advisory Board for 3 -year terms ending January 31, 2014. <br />t H -2 Page 324 <br />
