<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />~ `~~; BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />4 <br />REGULAR MEETING r <br />r <br />*~ <br />rN ~ JUNE 15, 2009 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />Commerce -Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan Update Contract <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />Attached is the proposed contract for services from LandDesign for the <br />update of the Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan. This will be a joint project <br />between Cabarrus County and the Town of Harrisburg. The project will <br />use a format similar to that used for the Central Area Plan. The amount of <br />the contract is not to exceed $155,000.00 for labor and materials. <br />Ancillary costs (postage, mailings, meeting space, etc.) are expected not <br />to exceed $15,000.00. The total estimated cost is not to exceed <br />$170,000.00 which is included in the FY2010 Budget. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Motion to approve contract between Cabarrus County and LandDesign, <br />Inc. for the Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan update not to exceed ' <br />$155,000.00, subject to review and revision by the County Attorney and <br />adoption of the FY 09-10 budget.
