The Consultant will make every effort to <br />minimize project costs by taking advantage of joint travel opportunities and consolidating <br />meetings, interviews, and field reconnaissance. Some of the meetings listed in the Scope above <br />will be scheduled for the same day. <br />Quality control/ quality assurance (QA/QC) is also achieved through regular coordination, as this <br />provides and opportunity for internal review of work products throughout the process. QA/QC is <br />included in the scope of work. <br />A copy of the agreed upon schedule for Consultant to perform its services will be provided to the <br />Client at project initiation, following receipt of Client's input. Any schedule delays resulting from <br />any circumstance, whether such circumstance is associated with the project defined in this <br />Agreement or not, shall not in any way affect the Client's payment of fees to the Consultant in <br />accordance with the terms specified in this Agreement as well as in Exhibit A, Standard Terms <br />and Conditions of Contract, attached to this Agreement. <br />CONTRACT FEE AND PHASE <br />TOTAL FOR LABOR*: Not to Exceed $139,350.00 <br />Additional Community Meetings (including preparation) Each $3,000 <br />Optional Transportation Planning Support Not to Exceed $1,500.00 <br />Optional Code Writing Support Not to Exceed $1,000.00 <br />* Includes the six `optional" community open house meetings. Also, included is work related to scenario <br />planning using CommunityViz, which is approximafely $20,000.00. <br />Direct project expenses (travel, printing, etc.) shall be billed at 1.1 times the cost, with a detailed <br />breakdown of each expense presented as part of each invoice. Direct project expenses for the <br />services contained in this agreement shall be limited to not greater than 7% of labor costs. <br />Billing schedule may be modified to recognize the budgets available in the current and next <br />fiscal years.
