CABARRUS COUN1 <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIO <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 19, 200 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />County Manager - Update on I-85 Widening & Pitts School Road <br />Realignment Options <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />An update will be provided on the widening of I-85 including the two <br />options proposed for the realignment of Pitts School Road. A diagram of <br />both options is provided for review and consideration. <br />The Cabarrus County Agriculture Advisory Board held a public hearing on <br />the matter on October 13, 2009. The results of that meeting were not <br />available at the time of agenda distribution, but will be provided to the <br />Board prior to the meeting date. <br />There was also discussion at the work session related to drafting a <br />resolution or letter of support for Alternative B.
