Land Use Plan for the Harrisburg Planning Area <br />Land Design PN-1008319 <br />August 2009 Invoice Period <br />Progress Summary <br />The following is a summary of the work completed by the LandDesign team for <br />the period indicated above. <br />Phase I: Inventory and Analysis <br />A. Study Area Visit and Kick-off Meeting <br />• Documented participant input through meeting notes. Revised notes were <br />provided to the client reflecting comments received <br />C. Data Collection <br />• .Compiled and assessed available data <br />D. Review of Data, Regulations, Plans and Studies <br />• Reviewed relevant regulations, plans and studies to ensure consistency of <br />the plan with prior planning efforts and policies, if applicable and <br />appropriate <br />• Documented notes pertaining to review <br />E. inventory and Assessment of Existing Conditions <br />• Research existing conditions intended to provide a snapshot of the study <br />area <br />• Conduct analysis of demographic, housing and economic conditions <br />• Begin initial documentation in the form of a detailed assessment including <br />all topics described in the scope of services; later in phase IV, this <br />documentation will be incorporated into the draft plan <br />G. Stakeholder Interviews <br />Review list supplied by the client of stakeholder groups. Stakeholders <br />include citizens and business owners as well as representatives of <br />town/county departments, institutions, public agencies, and non-profit <br />organizations. They represent the #ollowing interests: schools, utilities, <br />transportation, emergency services, real estate, local businesses including <br />NASCAR racing-related industries, elected officials, economic <br />development, parks and environmental. <br />Attachment number 1 <br />~-~ 308 <br />
