CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br />Meeting Date 6/16/08 <br />Agenda Item # G - ~ o <br />SUBJECT: <br />Cabarrus County Tourism Authority -Approval of Fiscal Year 2008-09 Budget <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The Cabarrus County Tourism Authority has submitted a proposed budget for the <br />Convention and Visitors Bureau operations for Fiscal Year 2008-09 in the amount of <br />$2,674,146. In previous years, their budget had been included within the County's <br />accounting structure and included in the County's annual budget ordinance.
