Attached you will find a letter from Mr. Ronald Alley. <br /> <br />. Mr. Alley is requesting that the Commission consider a text amendment to the Cabarrus <br />County Zoning Ordinance to penmit a Nursery/Greenhouse in the Limited Commercial District <br />(LC). <br /> <br />. Mr. Alley has stated that he would like to expand his current business to include landscape <br />material sales. The business is located on PIN 5640-99-6779, which is currentiy zoned LC. <br />When he tried to obtain a penmit for the new use, he was infonmed that It was not a penmitted <br />use for the current zoning district. <br /> <br />. Nurseries/Greenhouses are currently permitted in the AG (AgriculturaVOpen Space), CR <br />(Countryside Residential), GC (General Commercial), LI (Light Industrial) and GI (General <br />Industrial) zoning districts by right and in the LDR (Low Density Residential) zoning district <br />based on standards. <br /> <br />. Please read the enclosed infonmation and be prepared to discuss the proposal at the meeting. <br /> <br />. Pending the discussion and the Commission's decision, if the Commission decides that a text <br />amendment is appropriate, a public hearing will be held at a later date. <br /> <br />C-I <br />
