<br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />Meeting Date 12/18/06 <br /> <br />Agenda Item # <br /> <br />:r-z. <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Appointments - Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Commission voted on November 16th to forward the following <br />recommendations for consideration: (1) appoint Roxanne R. Hicks to represent the <br />Northwest planning area; (2) reappoint Justin Thibault as an at-large representative; (3) <br />appoint Charles Mitchell as the Kannapolis School Board (KSB) representative; and (4) <br />appoint Andrea Palo to complete an unexpired term previously held by Holly Blackwelder <br />representing the Cabarrus County School Board (CCSB). <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: (Suggested motion if the Board approves the agenda item as presented) <br />As requested by the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Commission, appoint <br />Roxanne R.
