VII. ALTERNATIVE SOURCES OF REVENUE <br /> <br />A. Grants <br /> <br />Any employee of the Department, Commissioner, or interested citizen is <br />encouraged to investigate the possibilities of securing a grant or sources of <br />outside funding for department facilities and programs. <br /> <br />All grant applications, donations, or funding sources must be approved by <br />the Director of Parks and Recreation, the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission, County Manager, and Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners as required. <br /> <br />B. Non-Appropriated Funds For Recreation Services <br /> <br />With prior approval of the Director of Parks and Recreation, solicitations, <br />sales, benefits, donation, or gifts, may be received during County- <br />sponsored programs. <br /> <br />Funds collected in any manner during a County-Sponsored program shall <br />be handled in accordance with established county and department policies <br />and procedures. <br /> <br />VIII. <br /> <br />REFUND POLICY <br /> <br />All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Director of Parks <br />and Recreation. <br /> <br />B. Refunds <br /> <br />C. Refunds for Adult Athletic Leagues <br /> <br />A refund of the team fee less 25% processing fee will be remitted <br />two weeks prior to the first scheduled game. <br /> <br />No refund requests will be approved after the first scheduled <br />league game. <br /> <br />l----J"0. 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
