Meeting Date <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA ITEM REQUEST <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Water and Sewer District Meeting -(1) Approval or Correction of Minutes; (2) Review of <br />History and Current Status of the District; and (3) Discussion of Future Plans for the <br />District <br /> <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The County Commissioners adopted a Resolution on 12/5/83 creating the Water and <br />Sewer District and a Resolution on 6/1/92 annexing additional areas into the District <br />effective 7/1/92. The Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District held its <br />first meeting on 11/5/84 and met at least monthly until 3/7/96 when the Board voted to <br />cancel regular meetings and to meet only when there were items of business to be <br />considered.
