Day, Deputy county Manage <br />March 1 l, 2002 <br />Contract with Carolina Addition and Recovery Environment <br /> <br />The Cabarms County Criminal Justice Partnership Program (CJPP) Advisory Board <br />oversees the provision of intensive and regular outpatient substance abuse treatment <br />services to offenders referred by the courts in accordance with the Community Based <br />Corrections Plan (which was approved by the Board of Commissioners). <br /> <br />These treatment services are currently Provided through a contract with the county by <br />Carolina Addition and Recovery Environment (CARE). The CJPP Advisory Board has <br />endorsed the continued use of CARE next fiscal year for the provision of these services <br />(see attached memo from Ronda Powell, CJPP Advisory Board chairperson). <br /> <br />The CJPP Advisory Board requests your approval of the attached contract, which is <br />unchanged (including costs) from the one currently in effect. Funds for this program are_ <br />provided entirely by the stat~_e.
