Dysart <br />(Seat #1 - At-large Member); Joe Phelps (Seat #2 - Nominated by Tourism Authority); and Aubie <br />Widenhouse Cook (Seat #3 - Nominated by Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce). <br /> <br />The Tourism Authority and Chamber of Commerce have submitted nominations as required. <br /> <br />Please note that John Dysart (Seat #O has served since 1994 and Joe Phelps (Seat #2) has served <br />since 1996. The County's Appointment Policy limits service to six consecutive years unless the <br />Board makes an exception to the Policy. <br /> <br />Also, Frank Clifton currently serves as the Seat ~/ appointee with a term ending on December 31, <br />2003. Legislation establishing the Authority requires that the County Manager or a member of th, e <br />Board of Comm.,issioners serve as a member of tba '~tharity· This seat will be yacant as of. <br />D~St. ~ <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Make appropriate appointments to Seats #1,2 and 3for terms ending <br />December 31, 2005.
