It is intended to be a joint plan between Mount <br />Pleasant and Cabarrus County. The plan has been adopted by the Town of Mount Pleasant and was <br />unanimously recommended for approval by the Cabarrus County Planning and Zoning Commission at <br />their November meeting. <br /> <br />The plan was produced with a significant amount of public input. The Eastern Cabarrus Citizens <br />Organization, St. John's Grange, and Cattlemen's Association all participated in and have endorsed the <br />plan. <br /> <br />The plan is being distributed to you at the December meeting to give you time to review it before the <br />January meeting. I expect that citizens from eastern Cabarrus County will attend the January meeting <br />to discuss the plan with you.
