Murphy ,~ L~ <br />January 15, 1998 <br />Supplemental Funds for our Weatherization Program <br /> <br />Attached, please find two (2) sets of amended contracts from the Salisbury-Rowan Community <br />Service Council regarding supplemental funds that are available from the North Carolina <br />Division of Energy. These funds will allow us to expand our services for FY98 in our <br />Weatherization Program ($ 30,000.00) and our Heating Appliance Repair and Replacement <br />Program (HARRP) ($ 2,839.00). However, since these funds must be utilized during this fiscal <br />year, we are asking for your approval to sub-contract for some of services, utilize tempora~j <br />employees and pay our regular staff for any overtime that they accumulate through June 30, <br />1998. This will allow us to continue to provide the quality service that we offer through these <br />programs within the short window of time that we have remaining in FY98 while utilizing all of <br />the revenues that are available through these state and federal funding sources.
