CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date: July 13, 1998 Agenda Item # <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br />Consolidation of City of Concord Library Department and Cabarrus County Public <br />Library System into a single, county-operated library system. The terms of the <br />consolidation agreement are substantially the same as those discussed at the Board retreat <br />in February. Funds for the consolidation are included in the Fiscal 1999 Annual Budget. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1. Approve the attached agreement <br />2. Direct the County Manager and County Attorney to act as agents of the Board, <br /> empowered to make or accept minor changes to the agreement document. <br />3.
