Bulletin #27 -4- Thursday, July 21, 1983 <br /> <br />(5) If the special election is successful, the board of county commissioners shall <br />adopt s resolution levying the 1/2% tax and shall cause s certified copy of the <br />resolution to be delivered immediately to the Sedratary of Revenue, accompanied by s <br />certified statement from the county board of elections setting forth the results of <br />thc special election approving thc tax in the.county. The effective date of the tax <br />is subject to the same limitations as set forth above when a board enadts the tax by <br />direct action. <br /> <br />A copy of the ratified version of H 426 will be mailed to each county manager next <br />week, along with sample resolutions. <br /> <br /> Executive Director <br /> <br /> <br />
