CABA~US COUNTY <br /> <br /> JUNE <br /> Physical Plan~in~ Activitie~ <br /> <br /> .Mount Pleasant <br /> -Contacted Planning Board Chairman to discuss Centralina providing planning <br /> assistance to Tow~ to set up first meeting. <br /> <br /> A-95 Activities <br /> <br /> Received <br /> SCH #83-1352 North Kannapolis Community Park <br /> SCN #83-1426 1983 Transportation Improvement Plan <br /> <br /> .~i~ned-Off <br /> None <br /> <br /> FiScal, Nanasemenc and Econom~ Activities <br /> <br /> - Prepared insurance specification document for Concord; visited all facilities, <br /> met with department heads, wrote insurance specifications, prepared rating <br /> data, and constructed auto, vehicle, inland marine and Boiler and machinery <br /> schedules. <br /> <br /> - Met with Concord's City Manager to review the insurance specifications document. <br /> made final changes and mailed to insurance agents. <br /> <br /> - Opened insurance bids for the Piedmont Area Mental Health Authority; prepared <br /> an evaluation~ and met with the Director and Fiscal Officer to discuss the <br /> recommendations. <br /> <br /> - Discussed ambulance errors and omissions coverage with Cabarrus County's <br /> insurance agent~ as well as other association for the County's worker's <br /> compensation coverage° <br /> <br /> - Presented results of the computer study to the Concord Board of Light and <br /> Water. <br /> <br /> EMS Activities <br /> <br /> - Met with and worked with county Emergency Management staff, installers, and <br /> General Electric to supervise and trouble-shoot installation of LMS UHF radio <br /> system, including FCC licensing. <br /> <br /> Manpower Activities <br /> <br /> - Attended two meetings of the State Job Training Coordinating Council which <br /> recommended at the second meeting that s~x Region F Counties (Cabarrus, Iredell, <br />..... ~Dfq~n, _Rowan,_ Stanly.,~and Union) be designated as a Service Delivery Area. <br /> Attended Training Session for Service Delivery Areas. <br /> <br /> - Worked with County Commissions to get Private Industry Council nominations. <br /> <br /> - Prepared for, attended and participated in first meeting of a) Consortium for <br /> Job Training, b) Private Industry Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
