CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: <br />New Business <br />SUBJECT: <br />JUNE 18, 2018 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />County Manager - Adoption of the FY 19 Cabarrus County Budget - Public <br />Hearing 6:30 P.M. <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />The County Manager presented the proposed Cabarrus County budget for <br />FY 19 to the Board of Commissioners on Monday, May 21, 2018. At that <br />time, a copy of the proposed budget was placed on file in the clerk's office <br />and was available for public inspection at the Cabarrus County <br />Governmental Center during regular business hours. The proposed <br />budget was also posted on the Cabarrus County website. <br />Budget workshop meetings were held in the multi-purpose room at the <br />Governmental Center on May 22 and May 24. A public hearing is <br />scheduled for June 18, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. in the Commissioner's <br />Chambers at the Governmental Center located at 65 Church Street SE in <br />Concord. Citizens are encouraged to attend and to present written or oral <br />comments. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Hold a public hearing. <br />Motion to adopt the Cabarrus County Budget Ordinances for the General <br />Fund, Cabarrus Arena and Events Center Fund, Landfill Fund, 911 <br />Emergency Telephone Fund, Health and Dental Insurance Fund and the <br />Workers Compensation and Liability Fund for FY 19. <br />Motion to adopt the Cabarrus County Budget Ordinance for the Fire <br />District Tax Fund for FY 19. <br />G-1 Page 416 <br />
