2. Provide continuing top management support for the Affirmative Action Program; <br />3. Appoint an EEO Officer to develop /monitor and execute the agency's Affirmative <br />Action Program; <br />4. Evaluate the degree to which the goals and objectives of the Affirmative Action Plan <br />have been attained; <br />5. Provide yearly audit reports to the SRCAA, Inc. Board of Directors. Said audit reports <br />will review the status of year -to -date hiring, promotions, terminations, age, <br />race /ethnicity and sex of employees; <br />6. Resolve any problem areas reported by the EEO Officer. <br />THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY OFFICER (EEO) <br />THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY OFFICER WILL; <br />1. Develop the Affirmative Action Plan; <br />Design and implement a control system to periodically evaluate program <br />effectiveness and determine the degree to which goals have been met; <br />3. Identify problem areas, report findings to the Executive Director and recommend <br />solutions to problems, including remedial or disciplinary action; <br />4. Develop and implement the internal and external communication system for <br />promoting the Equal Employment Opportunity Program of the agency; <br />5. Keep the agency informed of developments in the EEO area. <br />6. Conduct periodic audits of agency programs to remove impediments to goal <br />attainment; <br />7. Serve as liaison between programs, enforcement agencies, minority /woman groups <br />and other community groups as appropriate. <br />8. Receive, investigate and work to resolve internal complaints of alleged <br />discrimination; <br />9. Provide technical assistance to the Affirmative Action Committee and Board of <br />Directors regarding policies, procedures and resources available to the program. <br />7 <br />Attachment number 5 <br />F -6 Page 123 <br />
