Black, CM Black Construction <br />CHANGES TO CM BLACK BID PACKAGE <br />GENERAL INFORMATION: <br />BUILDING ACCESS <br />• Due to some items addressed in Addenda #1 and #2 that require building access to review, the site will <br />be open from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday - January 31 Tuesday - February 1 and Wednesday - <br />February 2' No access will be available after that time. <br />BID TIME CHANGE <Correction> <br />• Due to room size and parking limitations, the bid date will remain 02/03/2011, but the bid times will be <br />divided as follows: <br />• Divisions 1 - 8: Bid Time will be 1:30 pm <br />• Divisions 9 -16: Bid time will be 3:00 pm <br />' BID PACKAGE SUBMITTAL <br />• Please be sure that each Individual bid package you are submitting a bid for Is in a separate sealed <br />envelope and labeled according to the "Instructions to Bidders" in the CM Black Bid Package. <br />' ATTACHMENT "C"— SUPPLEMENTAL SCOPE OF WORK <br />• NOTICE to all Subs: Please be advised that the floor slab is a raised slab (4" thick) poured over an old <br />' existing slab that varies In thickness from 4' to 6 ". From a conversation with the General Contractor who <br />installed the upper (new) floor slab, the old floor was inconsistent in elevations and had multiple levels. At <br />the front + / -1/3 of the building on the Church Street end, the slab was poured directly in contact with the <br />' lower slab making It 8" to 10" thick. The center area of the building has approximately 4" of crushed stone <br />between the slabs. In the approximate area of Precinct 120, Storage 115 and Hall 118 - the slab has <br />approximately 18" of fill between the slabs consisting of old brick, concrete chunks and dirt capped with <br />crushed stone. Trades who's scope of work requires work in or below the existing concrete slabs shall <br />' remove any necessary concrete, old concrete, fill of any nature and replace. Backfill with crusted stone <br />up to subgrade, replace moist stop, provide dowels at 2' on center and pour back the top slab only with <br />3,500 lb concrete. The schedule will be extended (7) days to accommodate this extra work. <br />' DIVISION 5 — STEEL PACKAGE <br />1. Pipe bollards are to be supplied by the Steel provider and installed (including any patching of the existing) <br />by the Sitework Contractor. < Please use new attached corm to submit your bid.> <br />' ! DIVISION 9 — METAL STUD FRAMING / DRYWALL PACKAGE <br />t 2.
