PRELIMINARY MASTER PLAN PROCESS <br />The Preliminary Master Plan that was developed is shown of the following pages, and further illustrates the <br />amenities described above. <br />Task 7 -Public Input Session <br />In an attempt to solicit more public involvement and participation in the planning process, a public input <br />session was held at the Cabarrus County Fair. A booth was set up with comment response cards and the <br />Preliminary Master Plan on display. The public was asked to either fill out a comment form or visit the <br />project website to fill out the online survey. All comment forms and website surveys were compiled and <br />utilized for development of the Final Master Plan. <br />WORK PRODUCTS: <br />Presentation board of Preliminary Layout <br />Tabulated public input from the online surveys and comment forms <br />Task 8 -Public Meeting <br />A second public meeting was held at the Cabarrus County Government Center to review the planning <br />process, current public input and requests and to discuss the Preliminary Master Plan. A brief explanation <br />of the public input process was outlined for those attendees who had not been involved in the process <br />up to this point. The explanation was followed with a summary of the survey responses that had been <br />collected to date and several questions were answered. <br />Members of the Steering Committee were in attendance as well as members of the public and several <br />County Commissioners.
