People talk to each other, but do <br /> not necessarily share the info with you. So I am writing to let you know. <br /> Hope it helps; <br /> - Please have a dog park! <br /> - I am an avid mountain biker and spend a lot of time not only riding, but <br /> building & maintaining trails -which have all been in other counties. Hoping <br /> Cabarrus County will follow Meck Cty lead & develop lots of trails for riding, <br /> running, etc.; <br /> - Avid mountain biker. Being somewhat new to Cabarrus County, <br />1'd have to say that the county is fairly unfriendly to bike riders. It is <br />dangerous to ride a bike on many rural roads due to curves and lack of <br />shoulders. I think this park really needs good bike trails for families to make <br />a day of it. For young riders and unfit parents, I'd recommend that some of <br />these bike paths actually be paved. Lastly, not being so used to the sun in the <br />Carolinas, I'd also recommend shaded areas for parents to watch their <br />children. For example, 1 think the Gazebo at Harrisburg park is great. A 190 <br />acre site should probably have an emergency phone in the parking lot. <br />Believe it or not, not. all people have cell phones. Thanks for asking <br />opinions.
