Jay White, Sr. <br />Board Chairman <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />65 Church Street <br />Concord, NC 28025 <br />RE: Harrisburg Area Land Use Plan <br />Mr. White, <br />This letter is to show the Town of Harrisburg's unwavering support for the Harrisburg Area Land <br />Use Plan Update. The Town of Harrisburg Town Council considered the Area Plan Update on <br />March 9"', 2009, and the Town Council voted unanimously to support the update of the <br />Hamsburg Area Land Use Plan. The Town is enthusiastic about revisiting this plan in <br />conjunction with Cabarrus County, and looks forward to the community taking an active role in <br />shaping the future of our shared region. This joint plan will play a vital role in guiding future <br />development in our area, which has already seen signs of accelerated growth. <br />The Town of Harrisburg sincerely hopes that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners votes <br />in favor of moving forward with this important Land Use Plan update.
