<br />1 <br />i <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Cabarrus County, NC <br />May 11, 2009 <br />LandDesign Project No. 1008319 <br />Page 11 of 14 <br />• Meeting facilitation -Participate in Community Meetings and AC Meetings by helping <br />the Consultant with facilitation, preparation and distribution of agendas, management of <br />attendees (i.e., sign-in table), etc. (See Community Meetings above.) <br />• The Client will be responsible for scheduling all meeting dates following input from the <br />Consultant. <br />• The Client will be responsible for developing a list of roles and responsibilities for all <br />parties working on this project other than the Consultant. <br />• Dissemination of information -Meeting notices, plan details, and other information that <br />is disseminated to the public, the AC, stakeholders, interested groups and individuals, <br />etc. shall be the responsibility of Staff. The Consultant will provide information at the <br />appropriate times in PDF format so that it may be utilized by Staff in a variety of ways, <br />such as uploading onto the County's website, incorporating into newsletters or other <br />print materials, etc. <br />B. The Client shall provide full information at its disposaUavailable that is relevant to the project <br />in the format requested. (Note: All documentation provided by the Client for purposes of this <br />study shall be returned to the Client at the completion of this study.) <br />SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF SERVICES IN THIS CONTRACT <br />A. Conduct in-depth review/critique of existing plans and regulations. <br />B. In-depth study of small areas or corridors identified as "key areas" during the process, <br />though each of these areas will be studied at a level sufficient to prepare conceptual <br />development scenarios. Excluded will be detailed site planning and acknowledgement of <br />specific site features and constraints often documented through field survey. <br />C. More than two development scenarios. The Scope includes up to two development <br />scenarios. <br />D. Detailed small area plans, which typically involve a separate public planning process to <br />study all aspects addressed in a jurisdiction-wide comprehensive plan but at a greater level <br />of detail than possible in a jurisdiction-wide comprehensive planning process. <br />E. Detailed design or construction documents. <br />F. Detailed traffic engineering plans or conduct detailed transportation planning study or <br />traffic impact analysis. <br />G. Comprehensive review of, or the development of, an individual Traffic Impact Analysis for <br />any proposed development. <br />H. Draft new development codes/ordinances (zoning, subdivision, etc.), or draft specific <br />code/ordinance language to be added. (Recommended solutions to regulatory obstacles <br />and model language, however, will be provided.) <br />I. In-depth review or updating of existing municipal plans. <br />J. Design guidelines other than those that might be included to further explain a Plan <br />recommendation. <br />K.
