This district is intended to
accommodate relatively small scale commercial and office
development at an intensity complementary to residential
land use.

Rationale. This district is used to provide both convenience
oriented goods and services and for the permanent protection
of adjaceI)t or intermixed residential areas by permitting only
a limited range of commercial activities.
