11072 887 57 <br /> & <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AND ORDINANCE ~0Q~ ~I[~,^~- <br /> EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF <br /> THE WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF CABARRUS COUNT / <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 6, 1992 the Board of Commiss~.~j~i~i~ <br />"Board") of the Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus Coff~'~y~¢t~O.,~t~. <br />"District") adopted a resolution stating its intent to consider <br />annexation of the area described therein (the "Annexation Areas") <br />and fixing May 18, 1992, as the date of a public hearing on the <br />question of annexation of property in the Annexation Areas; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a report of plans for extending services to the <br />Annexation Areas was made available for public inspection at the <br />office of the Clerk to the Board at least thirty (30) days prior <br />to the public hearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a legible map of the Annexation Areas and a list of <br />persons holding freehold interests in property in the Annexation <br />Areas who had been identified was posted in the Office of the Clerk <br />to the Board at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the <br />public hearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Clerk to the Board gave notice of the public <br />hearing by publication and by first class mail to all those persons <br />who, as of January 1, 1992, owned freehold interests in the <br />Annexation Areas, as required by N.C.G.S. 162A-87.1(e); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 18, 1992, the Board held a public hearing on <br /> <br />the question of annexing the Annexation Areas, presented plans for <br />extending services to property owners in the Annexation Areas, and <br />gave all residents of the District and the Annexation Areas an <br />opportunity to be heard; and <br /> <br /> <br />
