887 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of the District does now hereby find that <br /> <br />the requirements of N.C.G.S. 162A-87.1 have been met, to wit, that: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />The area to be annexed is contiguous to the <br />District, with at least one eighth of each <br />area's aggregate external boundary coincident <br />with the existing boundary of the District; <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />The residents of the Annexation Areas will <br />benefit from the annexation; and <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />It is economically feasible to provide the <br />proposed service or services in the Annexation <br />Areas without unreasonable or burdensome annual <br />tax levies. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />of the Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County that: <br /> <br /> Section 1. By virtue of the authority granted by G.S. 162A- <br />87.1, as amended, the following described territory (the Annexation <br />Areas) be and the same is hereby annexed and made part of the Water <br />and Sewer District of Cabarrus County as of the 1st day of July, <br />1992: <br /> <br /> AREA I-C <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the Township 1 line 500 feet west of <br />the centerline of N.C. 49 and on the existing Water and Sewer <br />District of Cabarrus County Boundary (point 1); thence north with <br />a line 500 feet west of the centerline of N.C. 49 to a point 500 <br />feet east of the centerline of Old Charlotte Road (SR 1157) (point <br />2); thence south with a line 500 feet east of the centerline of Old <br />Charlotte Road to its intersection with the Township 1 line (point <br />3); thence west with the Township 1 line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />AREA <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point 500 feet north of the Miami Church Road <br />(SR 1132)/U.S. 601 intersection at a point 500 feet east of U.S. <br />601 and on the existing Water and Sewer District of Cabarrus County <br />Boundary (point 1); thence east following a line 500 feet north of <br />the centerline of Miami Church Road to a line 500 feet east of the <br />centerline of Country Home Road (SR 1185) (point 2); thence <br />southwest with a line 500 feet east of the centerline of Country <br /> <br /> <br />
