Zoning responsibilities and positions (3) move from Development Services to <br /> Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />8. Erosion Control positions (3) move from Building Inspections to Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />Weatherization Program and one part-time position move from Aging to Community <br />Development in Planning and Zoning. Weatherization Mechanic positions (2) move <br />from Aging to General Services, Building Maintenance. The Weatherizatio~ <br />Coordinator position, Grade 63, in Aging, and the Planning Intern position, Grade 59, <br />in Planning Services, are reallocated to provide a new Planning Technician, Grade · <br />66, position in Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />· 10. A Senior Planner, Grade 71 ,' position is reclassified to Planning Manager, Grade 73, <br /> to manage current and long range planning functions and zoning activities. <br /> <br />11. A Senior Planner, Grade 71, position is reclassified to Community Development <br /> 'Manager, Grade 73, to manage Community and Economic Development functions. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />In Building Inspections, the Senior Plans Reviewer position,' Grade 71, is reclassified <br />to Chief Inspector, Grade 72, for the addition of supervisory responsibility of Building <br />Inspections. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />One Codes Enforcement Officer, Grade 66, is reclassified to Senior Codes <br />Enforcement Officer, Grade 68, to establish trade inspection oversight that moves <br />from the Senior Plans Reviewer position. This is the only Building Inspections trade <br />that is not staffed in this manner. <br /> <br />Board of Commissioners approval of these changes should include authorization for you <br />to reallocate funds in the FY 02 Budget. <br /> <br />Please advise if additional information is needed. <br /> <br /> <br />
