ABOUT THE MEETING FACILITY <br />The Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center is a top-rated, full service facility located in Research Triangle <br />Park. Please keep in mind the following: <br /> <br />1. Official check-in time is 3:00 p.m.'' and checkout time is NOON. It is likely that some rooms will be ready for <br />check-in early, but some may not be ready and you will have to check in during the break between the conference and <br />the reception (4:30-6:00 p.m.). <br />2. The sleeping room rate is $86.00 single/double occupancy for regular hotel or $140.00 single/double occupancy for <br />the tower rooms plus applicable taxes. To assure that you receive the conference rate and availability of rooms, <br />reservations should be made no later than Thursda¥~ DECEMBER 26th. <br /> <br />MAKING HOTEL RESERVATIONS <br />To make your hotel reservations, please call 919-941-5050 or 1-800-325-3535 no later than December 26. Please let <br />them know you are with the NC Association of County Commissioners Legislative Goals Conference. <br />Reservations received after December 26 will be processed on a "space available basis." You must guarantee <br />your room by credit card or by sending a check to the hotel for one night's rate. The Sheraton Imperial must <br />receive notice of any cancellation at least 48 hours prior to date of arriva[in order to refund a deposit. <br />Cancellations received after this time are non-refundable. <br /> <br />CONFERENCE REGISTRATION <br />A separate Conference Registration Form is enclosed which you should complete and return to the Association by <br />MONDAY~ JANUARY 6. Please mail the form(s) with the attached check, or you can fax if paying by MasterCard <br />or Visa. The registration fee of $85 includes the reception, banquet, coffee breaks, meeting expenses and printing of <br />adopted goals booklet. Your spouse/guest will not have to pay a registration fee, but will have to pay $35 to attend the <br />reception and dinner. <br />CANCELLATION POLICY: The Association will refund any cancellations of registrations or meal tickets, less a <br />$15.00 administrative fee, if we receive notification by NOON on FRIDAY, JANUARY 10. You may FAX <br />cancellations to (919) 733-1065. <br /> <br />IMPORTANT VOTING DELEGATE INFORMATION <br />Also enclosed in the county clerk to the board's mailing is the voting delegate form which should be signed by the <br />official selected by your county board of commissioners to be the voting delegate at the Legislative Goals Conference. <br />Please return this form to us no later than JANUARY 10.
