OBVIOUSLY IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A REASONABLE PROFIT and
GREED.

We understand that any community which draws industries will also need to house the
people that work for those industries. With that in mind, please remember that a
RESIDENTIAL community is just behind the proposed indusMal area - and being that it
is probably set in the MOST PRIME AND UNIQLrE mountain-like setting of Cabarrus
County, DO NOT allow this proposal to go through. We understand that over 2000 acres
of Cabarrus County land is already zoned General Industrial. PLEASE LOOK
ELSEWHERE for more fitting general industrial land - not immediately next to prime
residential real estate.

Please keep the "big picture" in mind when evaluating thl.q proposal to rezone this land.
Will it really enhance the qu_a_lity of life in Cabarrus County? W'fll the people looking at
Cabarrus County and Concord in the future think of it as a "well - planned" community,
whose leaders made conscious decisions years back to grow the community in ways that
would most please the residents who call Concord and Cabarrus County home.9 Those
same residents vote for their leaders, pay their taxes, shop and work in the community.

Please consider the concerns of the residems directly affected by this rezoning proposal.

We are, indeed, new residents to the community. It is our sincere desire to live and
contribute to this community in a positive manner. We hope that this first encounter with
the local government will not disappoint us. We may be new residents, but we intend to
be here -- hopefully happily -- for a long, long time.

THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING OUR CONCERNS.
