Rosen, President of Trust for Public Lands <br /> <br />Frank Liske Park <br /> Frank Liske Park is located near the geographical cen- <br />ter of Cabarrus County at 4001 Stough Road in Concord. <br />Consisting of 178 acres, the park offers active and passive <br />recreational areas: <br />Facilities available: <br /> · Refurbished dai~y barn -- capacity 425 persons <br /> upper level (heated and air-conditioned) -- suit- <br /> able for birthdays, weddings, reunions, busi- <br /> ness meetings, parties <br /> 'lower level (heated only) <br /> picnic sheds on either side <br /> · Picnic Areas and Shelters throughout the park <br /> · 5 play areas including an ADA approved area <br /> · Horseshoe pits <br /> · Charcoal grills <br /> · Sand volleyball courts <br /> · 18-hole miniature golf course (open April through <br /> October) <br /> 9.2 acre lake stocked with large mouth bass, bream, <br /> and catfish <br /> · Paddleboat rentals (open weekends April through <br /> October) <br /> · 6-court lighted tennis complex <br /> · 3-field lighted softball complex <br /> · Soccer fields <br /> · Nature Trail <br /> · Fitness Trail <br /> · 2-mile Perimeter Trail <br /> <br /> Special events hosted by Frank Liske Park include <br />Holiday Highlight, the annual Christmas festival of lights <br />(December); WestemFest, a sanctioned junior rodeo (Sep- <br />tember); and an Indian Pow-Wow (August).
