CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />June 18, 2018 - 6:30 P.M. <br />Economic Development Appropriation <br />Notice is hereby given that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners will hold a public <br />hearing at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard) on Monday, June 18, <br />2018, in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room located on the second floor of the <br />Cabarrus County Governmental Center at 65 Church Street S in Concord, to receive public <br />input on the proposed allocation of funds for the following economic development <br />appropriation: <br />Organization <br />FY 2018.2019 <br />Recommended <br />Services Provided <br />Economic <br />Development <br />Purpose <br />Cabarrus County <br />$400,000 <br />Promotes economic <br />Job retention, <br />Economic <br />development within <br />Increase in <br />Development <br />Cabarrus County by <br />employment, and <br />Corporation <br />recruiting new businesses <br />industry <br />and encouraging retention <br />expansion & <br />and expansion of existing <br />recruitment <br />businesses. <br />The Board of Commissioners will consider this recommendation, and approval will include <br />allocating the appropriation in conjunction with the adoption of the FY 2019 annual budget. <br />If reasonable accommodations are needed, please contact the ADA Coordinator at 704-920- <br />2100 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. <br />Posted June 5, 2018 <br />Angela Poplin, Interim Clerk to the Board <br />AWachmenl number 1 \n <br />G-2 Page 422 <br />
