Planning and Zoning Commission
Minutes
March 12,2019
The applicant did provide information, showing that DEPCOM will remove any silt or sediment
from the pond, clean up the rock outlet, repair any erosion, install a seed, straw, and matting to
prevent future erosion, install a rip rap as additional reinforcement against erosion and that
information was included in the packet for you. That was specific to the wetland though, in
South America. That was not related to any of the issues along the streams or where the
floodplain is located. Mr. Patzer, is here if you have any questions about that or if you have any
questions about what they intend to do with the sediment that was clearly visible along the
streams. But, they did provide a timeline for addressing the wetlands in that particular area.
The Chair said they did provide timeline?
Ms. Morris said yes, they did. The timeline is here (indicating) and it would continue actually
through March 10th. She asked Mr. Patzer, if this work is complete.
Mr. Patzer said yes (from the audience).
The Chair said what did he say?
Ms. Morris said, he said that this particular work is complete .
Mr. Pinto said so that whole thing is finish, correct?
Ms. Morris said at the wetlands? Yeah. I believe we have gone through everything except for the
landscape plan. After the landscape plan, we would need to work our way through the NOVs,
and the response comments, and then conditions of approval.
The Chair said which one did you say, the landscape plan?
Ms. Morris said correct. The landscape plan is the last individual item and then we will need to
work our way through the comments document and then the proposed conditions of approval and
the violation information.
The Chair said the landscape plan, stream wetland buffer, remediation, is that what you are
saying?
Ms. Morris said yes, that would be the last item related to site plan review or plan. Except for
then, we would have the NOV s to go through to make sure that whatever was provided, you all
feel that information clears the NOVs that were issued, because that is why they are in front of
you and then the response to comments letter. We would need to go through that, and we could
do that as a general review. There are comments on there, things that need to be addressed that
we did try to incorporate into the conditions. The last thing would be going through those
conditions of approval. If you remember, the applicant did pass something up to you that said
44
