Planning and Zoning Commission
Minutes
March 12,2019
fine. But, I do not think this board needs to be in the business of picking new fancy plants, to
help comply with the ordinance. So, I think if we can meet the ordinance and provide what needs
to be provided, anything additional you guys want to do is additional.
The Chair said off the list.
Mr. Jansen said so, again, part of that is in regards to anything that may not be actually compliant
is actually indigenous plantings to the Piedmont area.
The Chair said whatever is on the list, because if we deviate from that then we have a problem
maybe further down the road for somebody else .
Mr. Jansen said the one thing, it just may be a matter of us simply taking a look at caliper size
versus the indicated height of the trees, and that may put us in compliance . Was that a correct, I hate to use the word assumption, but a correct
statement, to say that?
Mr. Jansen said it is a correct assumption, there will be replanting.
Mr. Dagenhart said you are not showing much landscaping past where your drive turns; once you
47
