2) Athletic Facilities — This service shall include fencing, restrooms /concession <br />buildings, press boxes, bleachers risers, scoreboards, athletic field lights, sidewalks, <br />parking lots /roadway and utilities. <br />3) Buildings Exteriors <br />This service shall include dugouts, concession /restrooms and press box buildings, <br />painting, siding, roofing, leaks, steps, locks, doors, walls, gutters, parking lots, roads and <br />sidewalks, etc. <br />4) Interior to Buildings <br />This service shall include plumbing, HVAC, painting, repairs to ceilings, walls, and floors, <br />electrical (whether indoors or outdoors) and safety equipment. <br />d. County Responsibilities <br />1) All non - emergency work requests shall be submitted by work order <br />request from ALPS to the Director via the Maintenance Management System (software <br />application). All emergency and health and safety type work orders will be called in to <br />the dispatch area of the Department. <br />2) A copy of all work orders and associated account invoices will be <br />forwarded to ALPS within (30) thirty days for their record of expenditures from the <br />Parks Maintenance Account. <br />3) The Department will be responsible for performing all inspections <br />and monitoring of maintenance and repair needs on school park sites and will report <br />needs via School Dude Program to assure work is being completed in a timely fashion. <br />5. Department Employment /Director of Services - The Department shall be under the <br />control and supervision of the Director. The Director will report directly to the <br />Superintendent of the Cabarrus Board ( "Cabarrus Superintendent "). <br />6. Annual Maintenance and Repair Plan - The Director is charged with the <br />responsibility of conducting a survey of the School Facilities and shall use this survey in <br />preparing an annual Maintenance and Repair Plan (the "Plan ") which covers the School <br />Facilities and all responsibilities set forth herein, as well as the status of completing <br />those responsibilities as of the date of the Plan. The Plan will contain the proposed <br />Services schedule and budget for the upcoming fiscal year and shall prioritize all School <br />Facilities repair projects. The Director will present the Plan to the Superintendents for <br />the Boards (the "Superintendents ") as part of the "Budget Approval Process" each year <br />of this Agreement. The Plan must receive approval by the Superintendents. The <br />approved Plan will then be presented as a component of the school budget request to <br />the County Manager and the County Board of Commissioners as part of their "Budget <br />Approval Process" each year. <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />G -6 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />Page 204 <br />
