Section 3. The Executive Committee shall serve as the Cabarrus <br />County Senior Centers Advisory Council's Ethics Committee and make <br />appropriate decisions related to unresolved ethical issues as necessary. <br />Section 4. Actions of the Executive Committee must be reported and <br />approved at the next meeting of the Advisory Council. All such actions <br />are subject to revision by the Council. <br />Article VIII. Section 1. The Chairperson, with the concurrence of the Advisory <br />Council, shall appoint committee chairmen and members of each <br />committee. Vacancies within committees shall be filled by the <br />Chairperson upon recommendation of the committee chairperson. <br />(Additional committee members may be recruited by the committee <br />chairperson as deemed necessary. These additional committee members <br />may or may not be members of the Advisory Council.) <br />If a committee chairman position becomes vacant for any reason, the <br />Chairperson of the Advisory Council shall appoint a replacement. <br />Section 2. The Chairperson of the Advisory Council, Superintendent, <br />and the Program Manager of the Senior Centers shall be ex- officio <br />members of all committees and, as such, notified of all meetings. <br />Section 3. There will be various standing committees, including but <br />not limited to: <br />1. Active Living Committee: <br />2. Accountability Committee: <br />3. Health and Wellness Committee: <br />4. Special Events Committee: <br />Section 4. Special Committees shall be appointed by the Chairperson <br />of the Advisory Council. <br />Section 5. All standing committees will function in an "Advisory" <br />capacity only. <br />Article IX. Section 1. Regular meetings of the Advisory Council shall be held on <br />the third Monday of each month and conducted under the general <br />parliamentary procedures of Roberts' Rules of Order. <br />Section 2. Special meetings may be called upon notice to each <br />member by the Chairperson, or upon written request from a majority of <br />the Advisory Council members. <br />4 <br />Attachment number 1 <br />H -3 Page 249 <br />
