CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />REGULAR MEETING -ADDITION <br />JANUARY 19, 2010 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />AGENDA CATEGORY: NEW BUSINESS <br />SUBJECT: BOC -Request for Funds to Accelerate Construction of <br />Hickory Ridge Middle School - $350,000 <br />BRIEF SUMMARY: <br />To ensure that Hickory Ridge Middle School opens on August 25, 2010, Len Witke, <br />Director of Construction with Cabarrus County Schools, has submitted a request <br />to use $350,000 of Sales Tax Credit funds to accelerate construction. <br />Currently, the project's contingency line item contains $908,850.
